All the recent rain left a new theme garden on our lawn - mushrooms. These big white 'shrooms are so pale in the afternoon sun they seem to glow. They are about 4-5 inches and stand on tall, strong stems.In a corner of the rose bed, small yellow mushrooms have popped through from the wet mulch.
Although I love mushrooms, I know enough not to eat something I can't identify as edible - and safe. Some mushrooms are toxic - and who wants that?
